From May 27–31, 2024, the ARISTO Summer School was organized at the Culturacontributions andiversity of Thessaly, Monastery Paou, Pelion, Greece. Alongside the ARISTO fellows, the summer school welcomed 11 additional PhD students from Greece and across Europe, creating an international and collaborative learning environment. Participants attended a dynamic program of lectures focused on biodegradation, nitrogen microbial cycling, arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, and soil ecotoxicology, delivered by experts from both academia and industry. The summer school provided a valuable opportunity for early-career researchers to deepen their scientific knowledge, exchange ideas, and engage with current challenges and advances in environmental and soil sciences.
