Identification of genetic markers that predict response to therapy enabling personalized treatment approaches.
Our research focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying complex diseases, including autoimmune disorders, with the goal of identifying genetic and molecular biomarkers associated with disease susceptibility, progression, and therapeutic response. We employ an integrative multi-omics approach encompassing genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic profiling of patients with autoimmune conditions, particularly dermatological and rheumatological diseases such as psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Through the comprehensive analysis of genetic variants, gene expression patterns, and protein signatures, we aim to discover predictive biomarkers of response to biologic therapies. Ultimately, our research seeks to advance precision medicine by enabling the development of personalized therapeutic strategies, thereby improving patient outcomes and contributing to public health.
