Christos Papadopoulos has a BSc degree of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology (DBB), School of Life Sciences, University of Thessaly (UTH), Greece. The title of his bachelor thesis was: “Study of microbiome differentiation in sand flies of different species of the genus Phlebotomus, vectors of parasite Leishmania Spp.” He finished his MSc on Clinical Applications of Molecular Medicine, Medical school of UTH. The title of his master thesis was: “The Role of Functional Polymorphisms of Innate Immunity in Incidence of Infections in Patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia”. Since January 2022 is a PhD student in DBB(UTH), under the supervision of Dr D. Karpouzas working on the evaluation of the toxicity mechanisms (structural, functional, in molecular level) of pesticides on Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi in varying levels of experimental complexity (from in-vitro to field). He has joined the ReASSESS project of Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (2022). He has authored 4 publications in peer reviewed journals.
