From 4 to 6 March 2026, a workshop on Scientific Communication in Practice was hosted in Larissa, Greece, as part of the ROOT-BENEFIT COST Action, a European research network focused on advancing knowledge of root-associated plant–microbe interactions to improve agricultural sustainability.

The workshop brought together researchers, students, and communication experts to develop practical skills for making scientific research more accessible. Through expert talks, hands-on activities, and an immersive visit to Terra Immersia in Meteora, participants explored storytelling, audience engagement, and creative strategies for communicating complex science.
