Antonia Argyri

PhD

Argyri Antonia holds a BSc in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, School of Life Sciences, University of Thessaly, Greece. She completed her MSc in Applications of Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics, and Diagnostic Markers at the same department. Both her BSc and MSc theses were conducted in the Laboratory of Plant and Environmental Biotechnology, with the title of her master’s thesis being “Development of a Proof of Concept CRISPR/Cas9 System in the Ascomycetes Fusarium solani.” She has presented the results of her research at an international scientific conference. Currently, Antonia is working as a contract researcher under the supervision of Kalliope Papadopoulou, focusing on creating fungal mutants with differential responses to plant triterpenes.
